Note: a Parsee in India is a descendant of a Zoroastrian who had fled to India from Muslim persecition in the 7th and 8th century. ,. the Zoroastrians believed that there is a continuous war between the good and evil forces, one representing light, the other darkness. The Parsis thrived under British rule in India, many profiting from opium trade with China.
