Sandy Yong: I am the Content Product Manager in charge of packaging and launching of new channels for Bell TV. These platforms include Bell Satellite, Fibe TV, Alt TV for Residential & Small Business. My responsibilities include deploying monthly channel launches by providing requirements to the IT and Technology teams and channel testing.

In addition, I am the author of the upcoming book "The Money Master – Inside Secrets On How To Make Your Money Grow and Stay Safe – What They Don’t Teach You about Wealth and Investing". The Money Master will teach a step-by-step plan on how individuals can overcome their fears and achieve financial success.

Previously, as a Buyer with The Cardy Group, I assisted with procurement of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for luxury and boutique hotel developments located in London, UK and New York, USA. I handled client’s budgets starting from $10M+ and progressing up to $25M+ large scale projects.

Prior to this, as the Event Manager of Big Picture Conferences I produced 6 annual conferences (with 250 to 550 senior- level executives) in the Canadian hospitality & tourism industry. My role consisted of recruiting and training 60 student volunteers, monitoring the volunteer attendance, producing social media campaigns, and liaising with exhibitors and sponsors.

I volunteered for the Membership Committee for Meeting Professionals International (MPI). In 2008, I was chosen to attended the MPI World Education Conference/Future Leaders Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada. I served as the Communications Chair and Secretary for the Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association (RHAA). My duties included taking meeting minutes, assisting with fundraising campaigns, planning Meet & Greet networking events.

As a proud Ryerson Alumni, I'm a graduate of the Hospitality & Tourism Management program (B.Comm) at Ryerson University with a focus on Event Management and Entrepreneurship.
