Welcome to 1 Minute Tips!

If you’re honest with yourself, you can think of at least a few moments where you caught yourself playing the victim.

This is human nature.

When we were kids and wanted a candy, or a toy, we knew exactly how to start acting in order to get it. Or at the very least, throw an amazing performance.

As we grown older, the natural order is for us to leave this behavior behind and start taking responsibility for our lives.

It would be comic to see a grown up rolling on the floor of a supermarket, because he or she wants a chocolate bar.

But we don’t see this kind of reaction. Or hopefully, not often.

We are smarter than this. We use clever tactics.

So clever that they fool ourselves into believing that we are the victims, that it’s not our fault.

Joe Doe has a happy life because he doesn’t have to wake up at 5 in the morning to go to a boring job.

Jane Doe is happily married because her husband isn’t cheating on her.

Joe Junior is a good kid because his parents love him, they give him great gifts, and they travel a lot.

Me? My life sucks, and there’s nothing I can do about it… Boo hoo!

Take control of your life. No one is going to be available to help you 24/7.

You gotta start helping yourself. And to do that, the first thing you must do, is to get rid of the victim mentality.

Life happens to all of us, good and bad. Only you have the power to change your reality.

You are the king of your realm. Start acting like one!
