Often referred to as "The Quiet Man' of US professional soccer, Mark Dodd had an illustrious 11-year career in both the American Professional Soccer League, and MLS.
Dodd played collegiately at Duke University, where he backstopped his 1986 Blue Devils team to the NCAA National Championship (Duke's first-ever National Championship in any sport), and then won back-to-back APSL Championships with the Colorado Foxes.
Dodd returned to his hometown to become the GK for the MLS Dallas Burn where he led his team to a US Open Cup Championship while being named an MLS All-Star and MLS GK of the Year.
Dodd was capped 15 times for the US Men's National Team during his pro career.
After his playing days, Dodd became a very successful entrepreneur heading up several businesses.
