Angel Has Fallen is a simply action movie that is full of tropes from top to bottom. Its a fun action movie that has alot of over the top scenes. The plot you can see coming a mile away with the story beats and for the most part Gerard Butler is competent as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning. If anything Nick Nolte ends up being the MVP of the movie.
