In conversation with photographer Khaled Bakkora about his early journey in photography back in Syria, the charm and richness of old Damascus and the beauty of old Damascene faces. Khaled, then, brings us forward to how moving to Dubai provided more opportunity for exploration in different types of photography like landscape, nature, portraits, architecture and so much more. We also discuss his conceptual project 'Figures Anatomy', a portrait project where the subject interacts with a piece of music (soundscape) while Khaled captures different emotional moments depending on how the subject connects with the music. It's worth mentioning that there's a small comedian in Khaled hiding somewhere .. he just doesn't know it, or maybe he does :)
