Let's get ethical (chapters 18-19) - a podcast by Corey Farr

Episode twelve looks at chapters 18 and 19, which criticize the nature of top-down government and top-down morality. By pointing out the deficiency of ethical systems and moral codes, which fail to get to the heart of the issue, which is our inner disposition and connection with the divine.

In this episode, I start with a mini-rant from my 16 year old, radical self, and then consider how these chapters could have provided some much needed moderation and grounding. The rest of the content is divided into three parts:

1. Chapter 18 part 1 - The defunct nature of all ethical and moral systems
2. Chapter 18 part 2 - Two totally different ways of interpreting this chapter
3. Chapter 19 - The personal side: get the inside right, and the outside will follow
