Episode eight looks at chapters 11 and 16, which talk about the empty spaces in life as the places where life, love, presence, patience, and peace can spring forth.

In this episode, I start with a story about how I found myself embarrassingly caught up in compulsive behavior as I was constantly checking user statistics for my blog and podcast. I then share a passage from chapter 16 of the TTC and how it helped bring me back to a place of stillness. The rest of the content is divided into three parts:

1. Chapter 11 - The wheel, the clay pot, and the house: "Absence makes it all work"
2. The "business of busyness"
3. Chapter 16 - Mindfulness, stillness, and (maybe) how Jesus prayed
