SHOW NOTES:

In Podcast Episode 177, “Don't Forget to Recognize the Team Members,” Kim discusses the importance of acknowledging your “team” members and what they bring to the table. King David saw great success for many years as the earthly ruler of Israel, but he would not have accomplished those victories without a team of leaders devoted to the mission and to their individual responsibilities.

The primary scripture text for this episode is 2 Samuel 8:13-18 with 16-18 as the focal verses.

16 Joab son of Zeruiah was commander of the army. Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was the royal historian. 17 Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were the priests. Seraiah was the court secretary. 18 Benaiah son of Jehoiada was captain of the king’s bodyguard. And David’s sons served as priestly leaders.
