SHOW NOTES:
In Podcast Episode 197, “The Importance of Setting Interpersonal Boundaries,” Kim discusses the strong boundary King David initially set when he let his estranged son Absalom return to Jerusalem. Whether David was right or wrong in this boundary is not ours to determine, but Kim wants to challenge each listener to use this podcast as an encouragement to get with the Lord and prayerfully reassess his or her interpersonal boundaries.
The primary scripture text for this episode is 2 Samuel 14:21-24 with verse 24 as the focal verse:
24 But the king gave this order: “Absalom may go to his own house, but he must never come into my presence.” So Absalom did not see the king.
