Brandon Day is a legendary high school wrestling coach in Michigan. In 18 years, he's coached the Richmond High School wrestling program to eight state championships and guided 16 of his wrestlers to individual state titles.

But he also sees a pattern brewing in youth sports programs that are having a negative effect on kids: Athletes are becoming uncomfortable with their roles when they make high school teams, parents pushing their kids to develop their talents at too young an age, and youth coaches promising those parents that their kids will be stars.

He explains his concerns and how he thinks society can change things around.
