Chris Bell coached the Lake Orion High School football for 18 seasons and guided the Dragons to a state championship in 2010

He stepped away from his coaching duties in 2016 to become the school's athletic director. When the opportunity to coach football and continue to be the AD opened up last November, he was eager to get back to coaching.

We talked about his goals in this second stint with the team and the challenges that come with it.

I also spoke to Jose Andrades of the Lake Orion boys basketball team and the success he's had in his first season as coach of the Dragons.

Seniors Alden Ritt and Trevor Witt have been teammates for many years and they've enjoyed this last season together on the hardwood. Next year, they'll be conference rivals when Ritt goes on to play basketball for Grand Valley State and Witt plays football for Saginaw Valley State. They told me what that will look like for their longtime friendship.
