Mario Impemba spent 33 years as a baseball announcer. His dream was to be the play-by-play voice for his hometown Detroit Tigers.

He landed the job with the Tigers' TV broadcasts in 2002 and he would go to describe the excitement of Tigers' baseball for 17 seasons.

He learned a lot in his career and he shared those lessons and experiences with me.

During our discussion, Mario talks about memorable games and the sacrifices it took to get to have his dream job.

He also has a new book out aimed at teaching younger broadcasters how to achieve their dreams of making it in sports broadcasting.
