Scott Reese was a buddy of mine from my college days at Indiana State University. We worked in radio together at WISU-FM, and on other projects over the years.

Despite being legally blind, he never let that stop him from living his dreams. In high school, he gained national celebrity status as the placekicker for the football team. He loved to tell stories about those days.

Sadly, Scott was murdered outside his Indianapolis apartment in October 2019.

This edition is to pay tribute to my friend and share his legacy. I have included my conversation with him in September 2019.  I also spoke with one of our friends from those days: David Hooper. David and I share our memories of Scott, as well as our time at ISU.

The latter half of this podcast contains recordings that Scott and I did six years ago as part of another podcast I hosted. He shares his opinion on a number of topics, including supporting the LGBTQ community, his disdain for Meatloaf being played in the gym and those silly requests you get on Facebook.
