Today we have a bit of a unique episode for you. If you know us you know we absolutely love the chosen. Ours and probably everyone else’s favourite scene is when Jesus is talking to Mathew and planning the sermon of the mount which is where he speaks the beatitudes.

Now if you're like us the Beatitudes can be super hard to understand but in reality, they are the clearest roadmap to finding God. Today we wanted to break them down with our brother Ben and we hope that through this conversation you not only understand them more but find ways to become closer to Jesus.

The Beatitudes Matthew 5:3–12

01. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

02. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

03. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

04. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

05. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

06. Blessed are pure in heart, for they shall see God.

07. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

08. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
