to distill your unique family values down into a statement that you
can teach to you kids. But it’s so much more than a cute saying or
a family catch phrase. A family purpose statement can help you make
decisions about what activities you will participate in, what job
opportunities to explore, and how you’ll spend your money. Just
like in a corporation, when everyone knows your purpose and what
direction you are headed in, everything that falls outside of that
