The Christ Event culminated in the Resurrection of Jesus (Iesous).  If there was no resurrection then the Jesus of History would be merely another great religious figure.  If there was no resurrection then we are of all people most misreable.  If there was no resurrection we are indeed false witnesses of God.  If there was no resurrection we should all eat, drink, and be merry for there is no eternal life.  The resurrection is reported in the New Testament documents with considerable evidence.
