Ep. 012 - The Power of Gratitude: Darsh Singh - a podcast by Daron K. Roberts, Author & Former NFL Coach

Darsh Singh is a man who made history when he took the floor for the Trinity University basketball team as the first turbaned Sikh to play in an NCAA basketball game. He’s worked with the National Security Agency and currently serves as portfolio manager at Satori Capital. When he became the target of a hateful meme in 2015, he used the episode to wage a vigilant battle against hate. Read this excerpt from his Dallas Morning News op-ed:

"Silence sends a message to those who are suffering from prejudice that you believe they should be victimized. It also sends a message to the perpetrators that you agree with their actions. By speaking up and engaging in thoughtful dialogue with groups that have very different backgrounds than us, we can break the walls of ignorance in our communities and connect with each other on a deeper level."
