New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been speaking out about his plans to fight gun violence in his city after the murder of yet another police officer. The mayor is bringing back plain clothes officers. The Atlanta mayor is speaking out on this issue, too. KSL Newsradio's Amanda Dickson wonders if maybe the country's mayors will be the ones to address the issue of gun violence. She wanted to get input from her guests on A Woman's View. Her guests this week include Pamela Atkinson, community advocate and senior advisor to Governor Spencer Cox, Lisa Walker, certified athletic trainer and teacher at Springville High School, and Afton January, communications manager at Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services.
