August 28, 1963, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “We have also come to his hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is not the time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.” In this episode, Pastor and Author Clarence Washington Sr. talks about part 2 of his book “Hijacked: How Dr. King’s Dream Became a Nightmare: Volume 4, The Recovery.” He said, “People that believe the end justifies the means have a high tolerance for the pain of other people. Collateral damage is just a part of their playbook. They will do whatever it takes to make their goals a reality. Dr. King was just the opposite.”

Pastor Washington believes Dr. King’s Dream teaches a Biblical approach to healing America. Information about his books are available at https://clarencewashingtonauthor.com/.
