The men's standings speak volumes about the unsettled nature of ACC hoops this season. As of Thursday, January 12 Clemson leads the conference with a 6-0 record followed by Miami at 5-1. Then, there are five teams with 4-2 records including; Virginia, Duke, Wake Forest, Pitt and Syracuse. Only three teams are ranked in the latest AP Top 25.

The top five teams in the standings are; Duke, Florida State, Louisville, Notre Dame and NC State. These certainly aren't the only teams engaging in a battle for the top spot. The teams making the AP Top 25 are; Notre Dame, NC State, Virginia Tech, Duke and North Carolina.
