The Genesis of Slipknot - Interview With Shawn Crahan - a podcast by Ace

Last week we had such a great response to the interview with Corey Taylor that we posted, that I thought I would dust off another classic interview from my journalism days. When you are a journalist, you sometimes have to interview people that you are not all that familiar with. This was the case here... this interview was recorded several weeks before the first Slipknot album was even released. I had only heard one track - Spit It Out - and that was in demo format! But to hear Shawn's unbridled enthusiasm for his band and their mission made me want to learn more... and now they are one of the biggest bands in the world. Enjoy!
