The 80s were without doubt the golden era of the teen comedy. As a kid this was one of my favourites. Although it borrows heavily from more remembered movies such as The Breakfast Club it does stand out to me as a unique film from the time. Directed by comedy legend Carl Reiner and starring some of the biggest names on T.V at the time it certainly had plenty of selling points.

I really enjoyed re-watching this and now think it actually influenced quite a few more recent movies. I showed it to James who is a newcomer to the movie. What did he think?
