Super Mario Bros (1993) - This ain't no game, but is it a movie? - a podcast by Andee Martin

A movie I enjoyed in the cinema as a child, based on one of my favourite video game.  It was meant to be one of the biggest films of the year but bombed at the box-office and has been disowned by many associated with it. The star Bob Hoskins even said it was the biggest mistake of his career.

Near 30 years later I look back on the movie with Andrew Stretton, who had not seen it until the night before we recorded this podcast. Some consider the film ahead of it's time and it has become a bit of a cult classic. Should it has received better reviews and been a hit or should they have simply looked at the scripted before filming and said game over?
