Today we get the privilege of speaking with Rev. Carol Windrum. Before we became the Great Plains Conference, Carol worked with the Peace and Justice team in the Nebraska Conference. While working with them she created a Peace with Justice Internship for young adults in the Nebraska conference, that later became the Micah Corps Internship. Carol now works with the Great Plains Creation Care team, and is helping teach others about how we can do better for the planet. She also reminds us that we are all on the journey and we are all learning. We want to thank Carol for being a great teacher for us, about how we can do better for the earth.

The Act.Love.Walk Podcast is brought to you by the 2020 Great Plains United Methodist Micah Corps Interns. Our podcast is based around Micah 6:8 which says "God has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" This summer our internship looks a little different due to COVID-19, so we are trying new ways to share our ministry across the Great Plains! (and hopefully outside of it) We are college age students that are interested in the intersections of faith and justice. Check out our first episode to learn more about us. If you want to learn more about the Micah Corps, you can find our website at https://www.greatplainsumc.org/micahcorps. You can also find us on Facebook, at Micah Corps, and Instagram, at Micahcorps2020.
