Anybody can wear one, but can you bear one? How many times have we said “let me take up my cross” referring to responsibilities, problems, issues, a thorn in our side, etc. When Jesus said in the scripture “take up your cross and follow me,” what he meant was die to yourself-your flesh in complete surrender to Him.
