Meta has announced new changes to Website Conversion Events. What does this mean?

  • You won’t need to prioritise 8 Conversion events
  • There is no need to turn on value sets to optimise for value
  • The Aggregated Event Measurment tab will be removed, and I’ve already seen this within some ad accounts.
  • You won’t be required to verify your domain
  • Previously, you had to verify your domain to prioritise for Eeb Events to confirm you own it.
  • This won’t be required. Although domain verification won’t be required, I still suggest you do this for domain and link ownership.
  • There is no need to select a conversion domain under your ad creative tracking. This will no longer be required.
