Due to time contraints...it's all about getting to the point.  Afronerd Radio'sGrindhouseairs every Sunday at 6pm giving our unique take on the goings ons in pulp and pop culture via the blerd/nerds of color perspective.  The topics du jour this evening are: our thoughts about a forthcoming Netflix project entitled, Dolemite is My Name which marks the return of both Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes;  although Dburt checked out Sorry to Bother You last week while in limited theaters, the highly acclaimed film was available for wide release this weekend....perhaps some spoilers are afoot; in the wake of abuse/harassment recently levied against Nerdist founder, Chris Hardwick, actress/comedienne, Yvette Nicole Brown has been chosen as the (tentative) host of the Talking Dead aftershow franchise; the adage, "what's old is new again" rings true with Marvel's upcoming podcast , Wolverine: The Long Night, which seems to be somewhat channeling classic radio serials; casting issue continue with Scarlett Johansson opting out of the new Rub and Tug film, which many thought should have been portrayed by a transgender actor; And lastly, in the world of comics, you have new developmensty in the Flash (Strength and Sage foces?) and Batman's wedding (that never happened).  Call in LIVE at 646-915-9620.
