Today's podcast highlights the unique story of two phenomenal movers and shakers on campus (and in our community). Hosts Lacey Ritter and Catherine Wright of the CCG will be talking with Dr. Kristin Stowe from the School of Business and Victoria Casiano-Cantoran, a senior finance major and President of ALPFA about ECON 413 -- a service learning course that is all about economic impact. Now this does not sound so exciting but in fact measuring economic impact is a super important way for community transformation and justice. Have you ever thought about how much Wingate University impacts our local community -- socially, economically, and ecologically? These two people have! Stay tuned to find out more about these two fabulous Wingate Movers and Shakers who took on this economic impact adventure last semester.
