This week, our guest is Emily-Rose Wiitala, the Special Events Director of the ALS Association of Oregon and SW Washington.

There are many ways to defeat one's enemy. In this case the enemy happens to be a disease... ALS. And to fight the good fight, the ALS Association is asking everyone to arm themselves with skis and snowboards. Then congregate at Mt. Hood Meadows on Saturday, March 7, from 8 AM to 4 PM. That’s when an army of snow lovers will engage in the ninth annual Ski to Defeat ALS event. Join them for a family-friendly day of skiing to raise money for all those living with this horrific disease. You can make a difference by donating, skiing, or volunteering. To learn more, don’t miss this show!
