Jim Cathcart is a legendary motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur, sales and leadership coach, executive mentor, and entertainer. He has authored 20+ bestselling books and pioneered the Acorn Principle. Mr. Cathcart has also been named top 1% TEDx speaker, inducted into the sales & marketing as well as speaking hall of fame, listed among the top influencers in the world, and even featured in his own show called the purpose of selling. He was the past president of the NSA (National Speakers Association), and has gone on to found the Cathcart Institute and the Skyliners Academy (latter in China), which seek to carry on his legacy. He boasts over 44 years of experience in the field of professional speaking and much more, all while singing (literally) his way through life ---and to think he started out as an overweight urban renewal worker who smoked 2 packets of cigarettes a day!!! How did he change the course of his life? what does he have to say? And how can you do it?

In this episode, Mr. Cathcart shares his life experiences, talks about what it takes to find one's passion in life and success in sales, as well as what he has been up to in recent years. One of my personal mentors in life, it was a dream come true and a privilege for me to finally meet the man who pioneered the daily question that changed my life (and can undoubtedly change yours too): How would the person I would like to be... do the things I am about to do?
