Big Ten 10 Conference it will start their season the weekend of October 24.  
Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (Sun Belt Conference) defeated #23 Iowa State Cyclones (Big12)

·         Iowa State lead the half 14-10.  

·         In 3rd QTR with 2 remaining, Levi Lewis threw a 78-yard Pass to Peter LeBlanc to take the lead for the first time.

·         The Ragin Cajuns scored two more touchdowns in the 4th QTR for the 31-14 win.

Arkansas State (Sun Belt Conference) defeated Kansas State (Big 12)

·         In the 4th Quarter with less than a minute remaining in the game, Layne Hatcher passed to Jonathan Adams for a 17-yard TOUCHDOWN to make it a 35-31.

·         Three seconds left at the Arkansas State 40-yard line and Skylar Thompson threw an incomplete pass to Phillip Brooks for the loss.  

·         (note) Arkansas came into the game with a loss to Memphis last week.  (L37-24)

·         Arkansas State head coach – Blake Anderson – one year ago, week 2, his wife Wendy passed away fighting with cancer. She fought for two years with breast cancer.  She was 49. This offseason lost his Dad.  

1.      Could Sun Belt Conference be considered” This season” as a powerhouse conference?

2.      With BIG12 suffering two losses to a non-powerhouse conference, does that put pressure on Oklahoma, Texas, Baylor or Oklahoma State to finish the season undefeated to be voted in the playoffs? ///
