Episode 112: My Friend Tim Commandeur (Operator Please, PNAU, Tkay Maidza) - a podcast by David James Young

When we first met Tim Commandeur, he was better known as Timmy. The baby-faced drummer was still in high school when he joined Operator Please, and by the time they'd graduated they'd become one of the biggest names in Australian indie. Those days are long gone, but Tim is able to look back on them fondly while still forging ahead as one of the country's most active drummers. Pounding the skins for both Tkay Maidza and PNAU, Commandeur still plays to massive audiences all over the place - and he's never lost his love for the instrument. With a bit of brief downtime between tours, Tim spoke openly and honestly about his time as a teen sensation, his solo work and performing to crowds the world over.
