Episode 146: My Friends Broncho - a podcast by David James Young

from 2019-12-19T21:00

:: ::

From the depths of small-town Oklahoma, garage rockers Broncho (rhymes with 'poncho') have spent the 2010s crafting a compelling and unique niche within their genre. It's a band unlike anything its members have worked on in the past, whose origins range from sibling rock duos to bedroom acoustic projects. On the back of their fourth album, Bad Behaviour, Broncho toured Australia for the first time in June in support of previous guests of the show Methyl Ethel. Prior to doors, we spoke with Ryan, Penny and Nathan from the band about what they've been able to achieve as a part of Broncho - and where it might take them next.

Thanks to Melanie Bunker, Footstomp Music, Gareth Lindsay, the Enmore Theatre and Ewan Birtwell.
