Growing up amidst the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad found both a lifeline and an escape through music. Encouraged by their families and their peers, they each kicked around teenage garage-rock outfits before forging their own path as Girlpool. With the release of their debut album, 2015's , the duo clicked on an international level and ended up with a cult following for their unique, folk-inspired take on indie rock. More albums and tours have followed, the most recent being 2019's .
