Church Family,

This Sunday we will be honoring everyone who has served in our Armed Forces. Come out and support and Veterans and thank these men and women for the service rendered in defense of our country. Please invite family and friends who are veterans as well.

We have a special speaker, Gunnery Sergant Robert Foreman, USMC Retired. Rob served 20 years in the United States Marines Special Forces. Rob was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq several times. Rob will be sharing from his experience. Bring someone with you!

Thursday, November 11, is Veterans Day. The American Legion has asked for our help in cooking the free Veterans Breakfast. If you can assist with this please respond to this email or visit with me on Sunday. We need cooks from 5-7am at the American Legion at Lake Ella.

As you know, last week was the conclusion of the series, Stand Firm, dealing with the Last Days. In order to Stand Firm we must live and operate in the Power of the Spirit. So this Sunday I will also be introducing a new series, Living in the Power of the Spirit. This series will deal with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the operation of the gifts in our daily lives. You won’t want to miss even one of these messages.

Attention all men, Saturday, November 20, 9am will be a Pancake Breakfast for every man in the church. Put this on your calendar and plan to attend. If you would like to help prepare the Breakfast please see Pastor Mike Acree.

Don’t forget the Adult Classes at 9am. Lean and Clean for the King meets in Room 103 and Faith and Healing meets in the Fellowship Hall. Child care is available during this time for Preschool and Elementary Children.

Please spend some time in prayer before the Sunday service. Ask the Lord to meet us in a powerful way and for lives to be touch and changed.
