Best Picture Oscar nominee, “Sound of Metal,” tells the story of a heavy metal drummer struggling to cope with the fact that he has lost his hearing. Naturally, the film needed an expert sound designer. Supervising sound editor, Nicolas Becker, who has worked on such films as “Gravity” and “127 Hours,” joins us to discuss his work on “Sound of Metal” and his first Oscar nomination in the new Best Sound category.
