Gary Panter's 'Jimbo: Adventures in Paradise' - a podcast by WNYC

Artist Gary Panter and editor Nicole Rudick join us to discuss the reprinting of Panter’s 1988 debut book, Jimbo: Adventures in Paradise. Panter has designed album covers for the likes of Frank Zappa and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, won three Emmy Awards for his set design work on the show “Pee-wee's Playhouse,” and it’s said that Jimbo’s styling inspired the look of Bart Simpson.
