NYC FREE Festival on Little Island - a podcast by WNYC

Mikki Shepard, NYC FREE Festival Producer and former Executive Producer of the Apollo Theater, joins us to preview the upcoming month-long NYC FREE festival. Hosted on the recently completed Little Island park on the Hudson River, the festival will feature a mix of musicians, comedians, dancers, painters, and performances.

The festival is free and open to the public from August 11 to September 5.
