Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin’ Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.
This week, we begin by assessing the bullpen situation and the Mets’ recent rash of injuries, holding out hope that the team can perform on this decisive road trip.
Next, we share our experiences with online harassment, as well as share the stories of others, and have a discussion about just how pervasive and scary these things can be as a woman, trans person, or nonbinary person online.
