Welcome to From Complex to Queens, the podcast from Amazin’ Avenue focusing on the Mets’ minor league system.
First, inspired by the formation of the Texas Rangers, the team looks at past trades the two teams have had between each other in Promote, Extend, Trade.
Next, they review the 2019 Syracuse Mets season. It was a long journey getting to Syracuse after a strong, stable relationship with the Tidewater/Norfolk Tides for almost 40 years. Their inaugural Syracuse Mets season ended in heartbreak, but overall, it was a strong year.
After, the team analyzes all of the minor league free agents that were signed to fill out the Syracuse roster and discuss who they’d like to see back for the 2020 season.
