Welcome to From Complex to Queens, the podcast Amazin’ Avenue focusing on the Mets’ minor league system.
Celebrating the anniversary of PBS’ first broadcast on this date back in 1970, the team decides between classic PBS children’s shows we (presumably) grew up on in Promote, Extend, Trade.
After, Steve gives us an update on our adopted CPBL team, the Uni-President Lions, our adopted KBO team, the LG Twins, and our adopted NPB team, the Yakult Swallows.
Next, the team goes over a little housekeeping, from where the Mets will be making their first pick on the 2020 draft to following some high-profile minor leaguers as they get set for winter ball.
Finally, with Sandy Alderson back in the fold in some capacity beginning this winter, the team takes an extensive look at his time at the helm as Mets GM. This week, we review the trades, signings, and drafts that happened during his tenure from 2011-2014.
As always, you can listen or subscribe to the podcast through Apple Podcasts, where we encourage you to leave a review if you enjoy the show. It really helps! And you can find us on the Stitcher app, Spotify, or listen wherever you get podcasts.
