Ironworkers Local 848 Business Manager Dan Segovia was the first featured guest on today’s America’s Work Force Union Podcast. He spoke about the difficulties organizing new union members in the Carolinas - two of the lowest union density, So-Called “Right to Work” states. Segovia also discussed how they are preparing for possible offshore wind turbine construction projects off the coast of the Carolinas.

United Labor Agency Executive Director Dave Megenhardt was also featured on the podcast today. He spoke about their Unsung Heroes fundraiser, which honored outgoing ULA President Harriet Applegate. Megenhardt also talked about the Great Resignation and his thoughts on when this job shift might end.
