The Nation Contributing Writer John Nichols was the first guest on today’s edition of the AWF Union Podcast. He spoke about the passing of former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole. Nichols also discussed the importance of passing fundamental legislation such as the PRO Act, the Build Back Better act and voting rights laws.

 

Also featured on the podcast today was American Postal Workers Union Local 215 former President Jim Bertolone. He joined the podcast to discuss the attempts to privatize the USPS, educating New Yorkers on political matters and fighting for worker and civil rights.
