Dan and Tom sit down with Tom Peters, Proprietor of Monk's Cafe in Philadelphia.  This past week Tom made the difficult decision to shut Monk's Cafe down for the foreseeable future.  He explains his reasons for doing so, how difficult this decision has been and what his plans are to inevitably reopen.  Tom also shares with us the origin story of when he convinced Cantillon to distribute their lambics to Philly, his recent trip with Sean Hill to a New Zealand hop farm, upcoming cellar sales and breweries that he plans on bringing on board when he reopens.  If you'd like a lesson on great beer and where to find it this is a great listen!  Oh we almost forgot to mention Tom teases possible bottle sales of Russian River's PYT  in Phillly for next year.  All this and more on another episode of America The BREW-tiful!
