Drugs and their effects on both the user and the family - a podcast by Gary Ray

I did my share of enabling until I finally realized that I was part of the problem and not part of the solution. I then started a local drug education network and learned a huge amount about drugs and their effects. After two years I wanted to expand the reach of this work so created my current website. Drugs split families apart. I knew that for my own health and safety I could not live in the same house with a drug abuser. Now I am committed to helping other families who are going through the same drug-induced chaos that I lived with. In the summer of 2008, I became a caregiver for a disabled woman Veteran who suffered a life threatening illness. Since then and after dealing with the VA in all it's various forms, I decided to expand my information here to give much more help to Veterans and their families.
