Our guest, Admiral James Loy, USCG (Ret.) served as the Commandant of the United States Coast Guard during 9/11 and shared his experience leading the Coast Guard during that tragic time. Admiral Loy has led a distinguished career in public service, dedicated to protecting our national security. In addition to his service in the U.S. Coast Guard, Admiral Loy served as the first official Administrator of TSA and the second Deputy Secretary of the newly created Department of Homeland Security. As part of this conversation, Admiral Loy also discusses how American Maritime is critical to our homeland and national security.
