They are the authors of several books including their collaboration novel 'Absinthe, Alewives & Alchemy' about how the recipe for Absinthe was stolen from Kate's ancestors by accusing them of witchcraft.


Ted is more known as Baba L'Awo (BabaNiAwo) Omo Osun I'L'Ode (the headless mermaid) through Ifa Epega lineage Ile Ife and Ghana (Beyin Slave Castles). His given name is TeDi (after my teacher, the original 'Baba Teddy') Olujimi. He is a storyteller and ritualist who talks about his life amongst many teachers and traditions.


'Lady Kate' is an Apetibi of Ifá who specializes in divination as well as being an author and illustrator. she is also a visual artist whose art is found in such diverse places as the BME Salem Church in St. Catharines, Ontario where her life-sized Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth resides and in Buffalo NY at Botanico El Indio where she painted a large Yemaya holding Tituba who she rescued from the ocean.


Together they live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and have seven children, two grandchildren, a bearded dragon and feed a small herd of feral kittens.
