You know, the more I talk to cake decorators, I realise that there are so many different ways to run a business. There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ but what suits you. I think that we all have the same struggles, being there is so much to learn, overwhelm, fear of failure, loneliness. But at the same time, how supportive and small the community really is.

We are all the same. We are all different. Like cakes.

There are lots of nuggets of advice for anyone in the industry, including cake ‘competition‘ and how to build up a network and community of like-minded people.
