Despite horrible umpiring from the man who contributed to a very frustrating ending to our 2005 season, the Angels slug a season high 17 hits and destroy Tampa Bay 12-2. Ervin Santana was awesome in less than optimal conditions. Juan Rivera had his best game in a long time going 3-5. Bartolo Colon pitched in Fresno today in what is hopefully his final rehab assignment, but Darrin Erstad took another step backwards in his effort to rejoin the team and his place as unofficial team captain.
